Have you tried pulling the fuse? 

The latest firmware update is 5.43.A.R2 for the Smeg+ unit.

You can get the firmware from Firmwares SMEG ,SMEG PLUS ,SMEG+IV2 (gpsurl.com)

You can also update your maps for free from this website too. The latest maps I have found is v120.

The issue was some moisture between the layers of the screen

Fixed by Magpie Autos https://www.magpieautos.com/ which cost £100

Try to do a hard reset... Disconnect the Battery for about 20-30 mins and connect back on. Don't know if this would solve anything but it won't cost you a penny so worth a try.

 replaced the infotainment system that fixed my problems. You’ll need to code a new one into your car.
